About You:
You are an experienced art director, using your design skills to creatively solve communications problems for clients. You are able to multitask, collaborate productively, and take the initiative to work on your own. You work well under pressure, able to meet regular deadlines. With an artistic eye and a methodical approach, you can make assignments stand out while communicating clearly and maintaining the integrity of each client’s unique brand.

Position Overview:
As an Art Director with Communicators Group, you will work as part of a team to provide:
  • Concept development for a wide range of marketing channels
  • Graphic design and execution for print, web, digital, and presentation materials
  • Branding and corporate identity
  • Presentation of work to clients as needed
  • Trade show and conference design
This is a full-time M-F salaried position reporting to our VP, Creative Director. You will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • Design Excellence: Provide attractive, effective solutions for all of your clients’ design needs, from branding and brochures to digital and social media graphics.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work with our copywriters and account teams to bring campaigns to life.
  • Time Management: You’ll need to be a “juggler,” simultaneously overseeing multiple clients and projects, often on tight deadlines.
  • In-office Collaboration: Attend our weekly in-office day in Keene, NH, enjoying face-to-face interactions with your friendly coworkers (The office is open 5 days a week for those who prefer to come in more often.)


  • Portfolio: You must present a portfolio that accurately reflects your strategic, creative, and conceptual capabilities. You should be able to articulate your thought process and defend your choices.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in graphic design/art direction, for an agency or a company’s in-house design department.
  • Technical Proficiency: Do you live in Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and other programs? Can you navigate Mac and Google with ease? (Your answers should be YES.) Knowledge of web design, PowerPoint/Keynote/Slides, Canva. booth design, and video editing a plus.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in design or a related field is preferred.
