Getting a client’s site back on track

Durango & Silverton came to our Web development partners, Lucidus Corporation, with a site that didn’t match the majesty of their narrow gauge railroad through the San Juan National Forest. Lucidus engaged us to redesign the site, and we responded with a design that showcases stunning photography of their steam-powered locomotive.  The shots are framed in a warm color palate, with beautiful, ornate type and an antiqued paper look -- all of which evoke the rich history of this classic form of travel. The new site is designed to get visitors of all ages excited about their next train trip through US history—excited enough to book a package!
